Fallen Boys

Where Children Are
Killed & No One Cares

The original, moving tribute to Ahed Atef Bakr, Zakaria Ahed Bakr, Mohamed Ramez Bakr, and Ismael Mohamed Bakr, ages 8 to 10, killed by Israel’s shells at Gaza, was done by Israeli artist Almir Shiby.
We took the liberty of including the heartbreaking picture of the grief stricken father of one of the boys, taken by Hosam Salem. If nothing is done to stop this carnage, we’re all guilty by association.

Bryan: The same ones the various bronze-age holy texts refer to in loving detail smiting hip and thigh, and the ones who’ve been tipping their hats toward Mecca more lately. And anyone else living in the region I’ve inadvertently failed to mention. DNA technology’s established decisively they’re all kinfolks, more so the ones who stuck around the area than the ones who left for a couple of thousand years then came claiming prior ownership. But some tiny percentage of those Hebrews living in Israel were actually around the whole time. Stuck it out when the going got tough. And those are surprisingly DNA-bound to the other ‘those people’ faction downrange. Semites, I reckons is the ethnicity of to whom I’m calling ‘those people’. And being a dreadful anti-semite, I hate to see them slaughtering one another with such consistency. Aside from being a bore, it detracts from who else is slaughtering and being slaughtered elsewhere. OJ

I am aghast at Australia’s continued collusion with Israel allowing these atrocities to continue. Shame Abbott shame!

We’re all guilty by association just by being human. I don’t know a damned thing I could do to stop the carnage and I don’t know anyone who does know. On the other hand, history’s on their side. Those people have been killing one another since at least the time of Moses. If nobody’s thought of a way to stop it maybe it’s because they just love the feel of it being the way it is. Old Jules
