I think so too, even though it was my elder brother who was and still is into him. He used to publish a newsletter, Elvis Alive, and have written a couple of books about him. To my particular age group, it was Lennon’s assassination the saddest landmark. Curiously, John was very cruel when asked about his death; typical because sometimes he used to shoot from the hip. Not even aloof Mick Jagger was so insensitive, when speaking about John’s own death. We’re all humans, after all. Gosh I can remember it so it was like last week. I was travelling in those days too as like today. Still feel his death was tragedy.
